ABS News – Police Nab Native Doctor For Allegedly Chained, Cutting Off His Son’s Fingers

ABS News reports that Victim was rescued and taken to the hospital for medical attention On the 15/10/2020, at about 1pm, Police operatives attached to Nimo Division in collaboration with local vigilante group arrested one Gregory Enweaso ‘m’ aged 48years of Egbengwu village, Nimo in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State.

According to ABS News, Suspect allegedly conspired with his son, one Chinonso Enweaso ‘m’ aged 20years of same address (also arrested) and chopped off all the fingers of his biological son, one Abuchi Enweaso ‘m’ aged 22years of same address using a machete.

The suspects equally chained the victim and abandoned him for four weeks leaving him in severe pain.

Meanwhile, police detectives visited the scene of the crime, photographed the victim and rushed him to General hospital, Enugwu-Ukwu for medical attention.

Consequently, the machete allegedly used in perpetrating the act was recovered as exhibit and suspects who voluntarily confessed to the dastardly act claimed that the victim allegedly absconded with the sum of N150,000 proceeds realized by the father after throwing up a party following a breakthrough in his business.
